2023 CCAS SEMINAR FOR NEW DEANS

Registration for Associate Deans

March 17-20, 2024

The first 10 registration requests will be accepted, with preference going to college deans; additional requests will be wait-listed in order of receipt. Although this event is intended for new deans, a limited number of seats is reserved for associate deans with responsibility for faculty and curricular issues.

Registration Fee:      
CCAS Member     -      $1,150
                                 
Fees include conference materials; Sunday reception; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast buffets, and Monday lunch.
Registration Deadline: February 13 or until the seminar is filled. Payment must be made by credit card at the time you register. Your registration will be confirmed once you have successfully completed the online registration process.
Cancellation Policy: For written cancellations received in the CCAS office by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 1st, CCAS will refund the registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee.  After February 1st, no refunds will be granted. 
Program Information:

CCAS Seminar for New Deans (March 17-20, 2024) & CCAS Seminar for Department Chairs & Heads (March 17-19, 2024)

  • Topics include College & Department Organization and Planning, Budget and Resource Management, Development, Recruitment and Retention of Faculty and Staff, Legal Issues, Communicating from the Middle, and more
  • Program includes interactive presentations, small group work, case study discussions, and informal networking at meals and receptions
  • Collocated in Santa Fe, NM, with some shared programming & shared refreshments
  • Both seminars begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 17th
  • Chairs conclude before lunch on Tuesday; Deans before lunch on Wednesday
