2024 CCAS Seminar for Department Chairs/Heads
December 8, 9, & 10

The Seminar is open to chairs/heads at accredited baccalaureate degree-granting CCAS Member institutions only.  Due to space limitations, no more than FOUR chairs from the same institution will be admitted.  The first 50 registration requests will be accepted; additional requests will be wait-listed in order of receipt.

Registration Fee:   CCAS Member Institution (per person)             $975                          

                            

Payment must be made by credit card at the time you register.  Registration includes seminar materials, two social hours, breakfast and lunch on Monday, breakfast on Tuesday, and refreshment breaks.

How to Register:  Click the “Next” button located at the bottom of this screen.  Enter email address of registrant in "New User" box and click "Continue as New User," completing the information requested.  You are now ready to register.
Registration Deadline:  November 8, or until the seminar is filled.  Your registration will be confirmed once you have successfully completed the online registration process.  Note:  Registration is likely to fill well before the cut-off date, so please do not make hotel and travel arrangements until you have received your registration confirmation.
Cancellation Policy: For written cancellations received in the CCAS office by 5:00 p.m. EST on October 24, CCAS will refund the registration fee, less a $95 administrative fee. After October 24, no refunds will be granted.

CCAS Seminar for New Deans (December 8-11, 2024) & CCAS Seminar for Department Chairs & Heads (December 8-10, 2024)

  • Topics include College & Department Organization and Planning, Budget and Resource Management, Development, Recruitment and Retention of Faculty and Staff, Legal Issues, Communicating from the Middle, and more
  • Program includes interactive resentations, small group work, case study discussions, and informal networking at meals and receptions
  • Collocated in New Orleans, LA, with some shared programming & shared refreshments
  • Both seminars begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 8
  • Chairs conclude before lunch on Tuesday; Deans before lunch on Wednesday
